Jazz Colossus featuring Snowboy

Jazz Colossus return to The Picturedrome for a latin special, featuring percussion legend Snowboy! As well as fronting Europe’s leading Afro-Cuban group The Latin Section, Snowboy has performed and recorded with the likes of Amy Winehouse, Lisa Stansfield and Imelda May as well as latin legends like Airto Moreira, Herman Oliviera and Flaco Jimenez.

Snowboy will be bringing a fiery mix of latin styles, backed by our 20-piece big band. Expect a fierce selection of salsa, mambo, samba and timba! As well as performing music by some latin greats, you will also hear some of Snowboy’s biggest tracks, specially arranged for big band for this unique event!
