About The Picturedrome
The Picturedrome is situated at the end of a Victorian tree-lined avenue, close to Northampton’s town centre and the School of Art.
It was Northampton’s first purpose-built cinema in 1912 and has been sensitively restored and converted into a distinctive venue bar for the community that serves freshly prepared, great value food and drink and offers a diverse entertainment programme.
The Picturedrome, one of the town’s premiere live entertainment spots, has a strong commitment to celebrating and showcasing music. From rock to opera, local to national and international bands and artists – you can be sure of something a little different to the rest when they take to the stage at The Drome.
